This historic town has revamped itself as a tech hub with the arrival of tech giants such as Google and Nintendo. So, you will see new developments popping up rapidly as the city is expanding, but it has maintained its small-town feel. The city is pretty walkable, especially the downtown area, and you can run errands there within a couple of blocks of walking. You’ll also see many people on lime scooters or cycling - it is the ‘Bicycle Capital of the Northwest’ after all. And they don’t call it that for nothing - there’s an abundance of well-connected and well-kept bike lanes around the town.
